FATHER of murdered teenager Marta, Antonio del Castillo, has visited the rubbish dump where police are searching for his daughter’s body.

Antonio visited the tip in Alcalá de Guadaíra (Sevilla) yesterday and thanked those working on the case for their tireless quest for answers.

After Marta del Castillo Casanueva disappeared on January 24, her former boyfriend later confessed to killing her.

He initially said he knocked her unconscious with an ashtray and, believing her dead, dumped her in the river Guadalquivir with the help of friends and relatives.

Manuel then changed his story, claiming his friends had dumped Marta’s body and he was unsure of her whereabouts.

Police dogs are also being used in the search, which started on Friday.

Until Manuel altered his statement, around 200 people had spent six weeks searching for Marta in the river.
