| The rain and unsettled weather affecting most of the country today looks set to last over the Easter weekend at least in the northern regions.
According to the special Easter Week forecast published by AEMET, the national meteorological office, the weather will remain unstable in eastern Spain tomorrow, especially in Cantabria, Guipúzcoa, Navarra, Huesca and Zaragoza, where showers are likely, some heavy and stormy, especially in the north eastern corner of the country.
The Balearic Islands will not be seeing much sun in the coming days either, with moderate showers forecast according to AEMET.
The forecast for tomorrow shows a slight improvement and a slight increase in temperatures, except in Galicia, western Cantabria and the extreme north east of the country, which will remain cloudy with showers.
From Thursday onwards, the temperatures will start to rise again, except in the north western Spain and Cantabria where the bad weather will continue, with cloudy skies, rain, wind and a drop in temperatures.
By Sunday, the unsettled weather will affect the whole northern half of the country and the Balearic Islands, with sporadic showers and a drop in temperatures.
The weather is not likely to become settled until Monday, when the clouds should disappear and give way to sun and warmer days.
The northern Canary Islands will be cloudy whereas in the south of the Islands it is forecast to be sunny for the whole Easter week. |
