A FATHER who installed a CCTV camera in the bathroom to find out whether his daughter was anorexic has been jailed for a year.

Jorge M.V., from Balaguer (Lleída) has been charged with exhibitionism and sexual abuse.

He is said to have suspected the elder of his two daughters, now aged 19, was making herself sick after eating.

To find out, he set up a camera in the bathroom.

In addition to recording his eldest daughter, the camera also captured footage of this girl’s younger sister, now nine; Jorge M.V.’s now ex-wife, and female friends of all three.

The teenager denied having made herself sick, or that she was suffering from an eating disorder.

As a result, her father has been banned from approaching or having any contact with his daughters and former wife for five years.

He has also been sentenced to a year in prison, the minimum term for charges of this nature.
