| TWO crew-members of a catamaran had to be rescued after their craft capsized off the coat of Ibiza yesterday morning.
Emergency services report that a 65-year-old man and his sailing companion were taken to hospital in Can Misses.
The latter had a fractured rib.
Coastguard rescuers were called out at around 12.36hrs yesterday lunchtime after a lifeguard on the beach detected a craft go under at around two or three miles off the coast of Cala d’Hort in the town of Sant Josep.
They are now attempting to tow the damaged catamaran, which is around 12 metres in length, back to shore to prevent other crafts colliding with it.
