| THE mother of murdered teenager Marta del Castillo Casanueva has appealed to her killers to reveal where they dumped her daughter’s body.
Marta, 17, lost her life in January during a row with her former boyfriend, Miguel C., 20.
The self-confessed killer said he threw an ashtray at her, knocking her out, and then he and his friends and stepbrother dumped her in the river Guadalquivir, believing her dead.
But he later changed his statement and said Marta’s remains were left on a rubbish tip just outside Sevilla.
However, it is thought Marta may have been gang-raped before being killed.
Grieving mum Eva Casanueva has also asked the defence lawyers to ‘show a bit of professional ethics’.
“It’s really hard for me, seeing how the defence solicitors are campaigning for the accused men to be released, when they raped and killed my daughter,” she told reporters.
She called for the detainees to “at least give me back her body, since they’ve taken her life.”
“I’m distraught, and the pain is worse with the arrival of summer, because I remember how Marta used to love the beach,” reveals Eva.
“Practically since she was a small child, she used to enjoy the seaside during our summers in Chipiona.
“These holidays are going to be very hard,” Eva admitted. |
