| US rock band Marilyn Manson will be bringing an early Christmas present to Spain with live dates in Madrid and Barcelona on December 3rd and 4th.
The band, led by Brian Hugh Warner, better known as Marilyn Manson (his name a combination of actress Marilyn Monroe and serial killer Charles Manson) will be performing tracks from their latest album 'The High End of Low' that went on sale in May.
The new album, recorded in the band's own studio in Hollywood Hills, is the first in seven years to feature the band's bass player, Twiggy Ramírez, who left the band citing 'professional differences' with Manson but rejoined them last year.
Manson has described 'The High End of Low' as 'a phoenix rising from the ashes, an exercise in surrender and resurrection'.
Marilyn Manson will perform at the Palacio de los Deportes in Madrid on December 3rd and at the Sant Jordi Club in Barcelona the following night.
"The high end of low", produced by Ramírez, Manson, and the band's keyboard player, Chris Vrenna, is the seventh studio album by the American band and includes typically provocative tracks like 'Arma...Geddon' and 'I want to kill you like they do in the movies'. |
