AN employee of Valencia’s La Fe hospital has been released from custody pending trial after biopsies of foeti were found in his car.

The young man had been stopped by the police when he had an accident and was found to be driving over the alcohol limit.

Upon searching the car, officers found the grisly remains.

He was released after a preliminary trial yesterday.

The patients’ ombudsman has called for the prosecution service in Valencia to investigate the case, which they call ‘terrifying’.

They want to know “who allowed the foeti to be taken out of the hospital, and what for.”
