A 41-year-old man and a 13-year-old boy were killed in the early hours of this morning after the motorbike they were riding collided with a horse.

The accident happened around 2 o'clock this morning on the A-355 between Coín and Marbella.

According to a police spokesperson, both riders were wearing helmets at the time of the collision.

A member of the public called 112 to report the accident, but when the emergency services arrived on the scene, they found that 41-year-old J.L.O.G. and 13-year-old A.O.R. had already died.
 
The horse was seriously injured in the impact and had to be taken away by the Civil Protection services.
