By:

FLIGHTS in parts of Spain have been cancelled or delayed as a result of an air-traffic controller strike in France.

Today, some 14 flights from Madrid's Barajas airport passing through French air-space are expected to be called off.

The strike started last night at 19.00hrs and will continue until 07.00hrs tomorrow.

All flights to France from anywhere in the world are likely to be cancelled today.

Air-traffic controllers are striking over working conditions and pay.
