Rottweiler attack leaves man dead and son in critical condition

A 55-year-old man has died and his 29-year-old son has been seriously injured after they were attacked by two rottweilers in a riding stables in Masegal en Carcabuey (Córdoba).

The incident occurred just before 10pm yesterday, and a relative of the two men alerted the emergency services to the attack.

As a result of the injuries inflicted by the two dogs, both rottweilers, but one of them crossed with a pitbull terrier, the older man has died and his son remains in a critical condition in the Infanta Margarita de Cabra hospital in Córdoba.

According to police sources, the dogs' owner has all his documentation in order, but an investigation into the attack is underway.
