molotov cocktail was thrown against a cash machine at the Caja Laboral branch in Calle Arteagabeitia in Barakaldo, Vizcaya last night.

The attack happened at 12.30am and has caused extensive damage to the cash machine itself, as well as damaging the building in which it was housed.

Firefighters were sent to the scene to put out the flames, but it was not considered necessary to evacuate residents from their homes.
