| LOW-COST airline Ryanair is taking Spanish consumer association FACUA to court to stop it from criticising the Irish-based flight firm.
Director Michael O'Leary wants to take out an injunction against FACUA for claiming the airline 'abuses', 'takes advantage of' and 'doesn't care about' its customers.
Ryanair wants FACUA to remove all comments of this nature from its websites, social networks and the press.
FACUA is reported to have used expressions such as 'multi-million-euro frauds', 'abuse suffered by passengers', 'taking the mickey out of customers'.
Ryanair has accused them of defamation and 'harming the public image' of the airline.
