THE United Nations is seeking young Spaniards to apply for jobs in all areas, including architecture and social, economic and political affairs.
Candidates must be under 32 years of age, with a good university degree, work experience, and an excellent level of French and English.
Other 'official' UN languages, such as Russian, Chinese, Arabic and of course, Spanish, will gain points.
The organisation's work with Africa also means that in addition to English, French and Arabic, languages such as Portuguese and Swahili will be highly valued.
Applications are accepted between July 13 and September 12 this year, and an examination for selected candidates will be on December 5 in Madrid.
Next, a total of 40 Spanish candidates for each area will be called forward for a written examination.
