 QUEEN Sofía of Spain is taking legal action against an online dating site which used her photograph in an advert without her permission.
The firm, Ashley Madison, launched an advert featuring a portrait of the queen and the slogan, “Now you no longer have to spend the night alone.”
She is suing the firm personally via solicitor Antonio Hernández Gil, a member of the Madrid College of Law, for 'damage to her honour and dignity.
The advertising regulatory board, Autocontrol, agrees that the advertisement should never have been launched and should be removed. |
