The bodies of two dead stowaways were found yesterday morning in the cargo hold of a German boat currently docked in the port of Avilés in Asturias. Neither of the stowaways was found with any kind of documentation, but it is thought that they are Moroccans because the last stop the "Tinsdal" made before arriving in Avilés was the Moroccan port of Safi.

The cause of the deaths has not yet been confirmed, but asphyxia or starvation seem the two most likely possibilities at this stage. The bodies have been taken to the La Carriona town cementery where an autopsy will be carried out.
