Bar owner murdered by customer he tried to throw out

A BAR-OWNER'S murder by a customer he ordered to leave the premises is under investigation, with witnesses saying the killer knifed his victim three times in the street.

The accused had been causing problems at the pub in the pictured coastal town of Sant Pol de Mar (Barcelona province) some time around 18.00hrs on Friday, and the owner told him to leave.

A heated discussion broke out, ending with the young man who ran the bar being knifed three times.

He lost his life at the scene because of the serious nature of his injuries.

Police say the murderer has an existing criminal record.
