| Around two hundred protesters gathered outside Sagunto Town Hall yesterday calling for police to step up the search for 16 year old Sandra Escrig Rodríguez, who went missing from her home during November. The girl´s mother, Josefina Redríguez, has requested a meeting with the Home Affairs Minister, Angel Acebes, to ask him to try and make sure the police continue looking for her daughter who has now been missing for 98 days.
Rodríguez had a meeting today with the mayor of Sagunto, Miguel Angel Martín, to demand an explanation for why, eighty days after her daughter´s disappearance, police in nearby Rafaelbuñol had received neither photos nor descriptions of the girl. After her meeting with the mayor, she said that, "it was positive, and he promised that things would improve, but let´s see what happens."
