ELEPHANTS being born in the middle of Spain's third-largest city is not something that happens every day. In fact, until this month, it had never happened before.
Goat found wandering around A&E at La Fe hospital
19/09/2017
A GOAT managed to sneak into A&E at Valencia's La Fe hospital, causing patients and staff to do a double take at the sight of the unusual visitor.
Local Police were called at around 10.00 on Saturday, and hospital staff tried to block off the animal with several wheelchairs.
They managed to get her into one of the bathrooms and, when representatives of Valencia's animal shelter arrived, they found the goat standing on one of the sinks.
She was completely unharmed and in good health, and was taken to the shelter in the city's Nazaret neighbourhood.
It is believed she had escaped from one of the allotments attached to houses near the hospital, in the Campanar area on the outskirts of the city.
The unlikely 'patient' did not interrupt hospital proceedings or cause any damage, staff said.
