The new Andalusian parliament will be constituted on March 31 at 12.00 pm. From then, the parliament speaker will have 15 days to propose a candidate to the presidency of the regional government. According to the Autonomy Statute, this constitutive session will elect the members of the Chamber, made up of the president, the vice-presidents and secretaries.

The president will most likely be socialist, with absolute majority. The PSOE won the most seats in the regional elections held yesterday (Sunday 14), in which the socialists won 61 of the 109 seats in the chamber. The PP will have 37 seats, IU will have six and the PA will have five representatives.
