Organisers of the Fórum Barcelona 2004 are running courses to learn to drive the electric cars available at the event. The decision to start these courses came about due to large numbers of accidents involving drivers of these vehicles.

The courses last 15 minutes, and include a theory side explaining how to drive the cars and basic rules for driving around the Fórum. Participants in these courses are mostly organisers, journalists and photographers, who receive a badge confirming their knowledge at the wheel.
