Bouncer arrested after Guadalajara disco death

A 36 year old Rumanian, who lived in Guadalajara, died during the early hours of Sunday morning when he banged his head after being knocked to the ground by a bouncer outside the "El Puerto" disco after an argument. The 39 year old bouncer, who is thought to be of Argentinian origin, was arrested shortly afterwards.

It seems that the incident occurred at around 5am when the bouncer knocked the victim to the ground during a heated argument outside the "El Puerto" disco located near the popular calle Sugüenza area on a small side street off the calle Capitán Arenas. A police source also revealed that the bouncer was taken into custody just over a year ago after a punch up with a youth outside the "El Siglo" pub, where he was previously employed.
