| Alboraya Mayor Manuel Alvaro yesterday made public that the winning bid to build a new Port Saplaya was won by the Astroc Company in collaboration with local Porcelain manufacturer Lladro.
The winning plans call for the building of 800 homes, and a dock of 2.5 hectares accommodating 225 moorings, being completely open to the sea.
The new port will be built on the site that is currently occupied by a Hypermarket that is intending to move into a nearby commercial centre.
The new project includes at least two new hotels, and will cost some 600 million Euros, and now has to go to the Conselleria for the Territory for its approval. |
