| "Isi/Disi, Amor a lo Bestia" (AC/DC, Crazy Love) is the name of Chema de la Peña´s new film, a comedy starring Santiago Segura (photo, left) and Florentino Fernández (photo, right) in the title roles. The name of the film is a phonetic representation of how the protagonists think "AC/DC" (their favourite group), should be pronounced. Isi and Disi are a couple of ageing heavy metal fans who were born and brought up in Leganés.
Isi, who despite being well into his thirties, still lives at home with Eugenio, his veteran rock-fan father who owns and runs the roughest heavy metal bar in town, "The Hell´s Bell." Isi lives an uneventful life spending his time helping out with the family business and rehearsing with his band; "Rata Muerta" (Dead Rat), which is made up of himself, Disi, El Pota and El Kuki.
However, Isi´s life is turned upside down one day when he meets the beautiful Vane (Jaydy Michel), a rich, Mexican, Telecommunications student, whose heart he vows to capture. To achieve this, he must first overcome all the obstacles fate throws at him, including her other admirers...
The film premiered last night in Madrid and will be on general release nationally from this weekend.
