Description
The property consists of 4 plots, on 2 the house has been built and the 2 remaining plots have not yet been built. All plots have been purchased as building land though. The total amount of land is 6.693sqm. The area is completely fenced. Gates and garage doors are equipped with remote control.
Because of its location 100m above sea level the house has an unobstructed view all around to the east in Parque Holandes and the sea, especially from the large panorama windows of the two living rooms .
The house was designed in 2000 according to the ideas of the builders by the architect Carlos Mata Alfonso and was completed 2001.
The materials of construction and the equipment are above average, both in design and quality.
The ceiling in the living area is provided with hand trimmed wooden beams below the solid concrete construction, the rooms with a pitched roof have roofs made entirely of wood with external insulation.
The steel reinforcement in the concrete was sealed and connected to the extension-lightning protection device for current implementation and the building earthing.
The floors in kitchen, dining room, living room and studio are carried out with high-quality 20mm thick marble tiles (travertine) and with carpet samples in tasteful colors. All other floors including the entire flat roof are tiled in terracotta.
The outdoor stairs, especially in the pool and barbecue area, are mainly paved with natural stone. Massive stone walls decorate the garden where terraces have been created.
Because of the large garden special attention was paid to the water supply and the proper disposal of waste water.
At the lowest point of the property a reservoir with 70m³ has been dug into the ground, which is sufficient for a single filling of the pool. This deposit is permanently refilled with desalinated seawater from the public water company CAAF, from where it is pumped to the house when needed, in order to be independent of the water pressure of the line. Near the house is a further deposit with 15m³, which supplies the house.
All waste water is filtered in a gravel trap and stored in a 12m³ pit drainage in order to water the garden with a pump. Since the waste water is not sufficient, particularly in the absence of the owners, the pit drainage is refilled by the pool when the level is too low. If the pool is empty, fresh water is used for irrigation automatically. It is recommended to incorporate water-soluble fertilizer regularly into the irrigation water.
Since on average about 2-3m³ water are needed a day so that trees and plants grow well, the pool is continuously supplied with fresh water and hardly needs to be treated with chemicals to have absolutely clean water. (1 tablet / week). Upon departure of the residents, the water supply of the pool is simply turned off. The pool then waters the garden for about 4 weeks, after that it is fed directly with fresh water.
On arrival, the pool is refilled with fresh water, which comes out of the pipe in Fuerteventura with 20 degrees C. 8m² solar panels help heating up the pool with the filter circulation. The house also offers a sauna with plunge pool for cool winter days.
In 3 bedrooms reversible air conditioners are available that cool or heat / dehumidify as required. The hot water is produced with 2 solar heating systems with 300 liters each; during bad weather water can be heated electrically. At the pool is a further shower, which is fed from a 50 liter warm water boiler.
The pool bar is tiled with marble.
A greenhouse was built to protect sensitive plants. Here mainly grow mangoes, Surinam cherries and grapes. Different varieties of fig trees complement the palms, cacti and flowering bushes in the garden, in the courtyard is a pomegranate tree, which bears fruit regularly. To the delight of residents 4 wells and various works of art, paintings and sculptures decorate the estate. The kitchen has been manufactured in a country style by a carpinter of Munich. (Gas + electric).
High quality garden furniture of teak and aluminum (Fa. Garpa) complete the features.
For owners is a ham radio operator and has an officiall radio station installed in the villa to speak with friends all around the globe.
There is enough building land left to build several new buildings if needed, without obstructing the breathtaking panoramic views over the rural landscape and the sea.
