house with moorish 12th century carvings over main door in melide (la coruÑa) this is a very large old house in a small hamlet close to melide la coruña. the house has a brick built house attached to it (included to be demolished at will).once demolished the house would stand alone. it has a large garden with extensive outbuildings in excellent condition terraces an horreo in very good condition. but its most outstanding feature is the main door carved by the moors around the twelfth century. it is the only one of its kind we have ever seen, normally all similar ones have templar crosses carved alongside them. the house is included in what in spain is the equivalent of the national heritage
