are Motorway, trunk roads and mainline rail links less
than 15 minutes away.
The property has a Cedula de Habitation and a Tourist
Licence issued by the Generalitat of Catalunya. There is
an established holiday rental business here which
commenced in 2011 and has grown annually since then.
Advertising is currently made through Airbnb and Trip
Advisor. However, there is huge potential for increasing the range of tourist
activities by reaching out to websites that specialise in
holidays such as yoga retreats, art holidays and cooking
holidays. In addition to the tourist rental income there is
also the income from the olive and almond
crops and from the sale of ecologic olive oil which is
pressed locally and then exported across Europe.

from bird and wildlife watching, cycling, walking, scuba diving and
many gastronomic festivals. An hour to the north is the
city of Tarragona with its incredible Roman history.
Towards Barcelona there are vineyards of world renown
and they host tours and tastings. The coast is around 15 minutes
away. The holiday properties are fully equipped with all
that is needed for visitors with games to play on the farm
inside and out and there is also a Petanque court within the
The farm is entirely off-grid and the electricity supply is
generated from solar panels into a substantial battery
power station with a 3 kW inverter supplying full
domestic current to the 3 houses. A generator is used to
charge the batteries during prolonged cloudy periods.
The owner`s house benefits from gas-fired central
heating and has additional heating from a log burner in
winter. Gas is supplied from 2 x 1000 litre tanks which
are recharged by tanker when required. The Barn is
heated by gas-fired underfloor heating and the Casita
has a log burner. Each property has their own septic tank
which discharges clean water to the gardens. There is a
200 m deep borehole to provide water, which is stored in
an underground cisterna and this feeds all 3 properties.
There are 2 internet networks, one is solely for guests`
use and the other secure one for the owner`s use.
The farm is easy to manage and the current owners
accept volunteers from all over the world who come to
help with the harvest and perform the regular
maintenance programmes in return for accommodation.

The Barn occupies part of a 50m building, a section of
which is used for agricultural equipment storage and
workshop. All equipment required for harvesting and
land maintenance will form part of the sale, as will a Land
Rover Freelander and large trailer. Membership of the
Olive Co-operative will be transferred into the new
owner`s name as will the EU subsidy which is granted for
the care of the olives. The farm is run in a completely
ecological manner and no chemicals of any sort have
been used on the farm for over 8 years, giving an
ecologic status to the olive oil produced here.
The houses will be sold fully furnished (except for some
of the owner`s personal possessions) enabling the
holiday business to continue without any interruption.
