Start Date: Negotiable
This office supports our UK umbrella company, employers of a multilingual team of highly skilled and experienced professionals who provide international medical assistance and repatriation services.
We have customised the services we provide to protect the health of travellers, expatriates, and employees on overseas assignments. When a traveller falls ill, suffers an accident whilst overseas or requires any other travel or medical related help, our dedicated in-house teams of Doctors, Nurses, Paramedics and case managers are on hand 24/7/365.
These highly experienced specialists provide travellers with the highest quality of advice, support and assistance and an immediate response including repatriation and evacuation services.
• To creatively support and understand claimants needs to best offer professional advice to solve medical and travel issues in an empathetic manner.
• Validating cover with third party insurers (i.e. issue/cover dates, excesses, medical screening and optional cover add-ons).
• Liaising with Hospitals, Medical Centres and third-party Agents (i.e. cost containers).
• Arranging international repatriations (i.e taxis, flights, hotels, road ambulances, air ambulances, medical escorts).
• Sending guarantees of payments (GOP) to third parties.
• Ensuring claims are validated in line with the terms and conditions of the relevant policy wording.
• Monitoring and ensuring workflows are consistently maintained and up to date.
• Provide guidance and advice to less experienced International Case Managers.
• Work closely with our Spanish linguists including undertaking task delegation to encourage case progression.
Skills Required:
You should be a highly motivated, results-oriented individual who is able to set, meet and exceed targets. You should have a strong customer focus and have an advanced level of English to be able to communicate with our claimants in a verbal and written form effectively. Work independently under pressure, proactively, and under minimal supervision with an attention to detail. You must have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
We are looking for fluent English-speaking applicants, preferably fluent with another major
European language.
Starting salary is 18,210 per annum increasing to 20,352 upon completion of a six month probation period.
WORKING DAYS & HOURS: This role is shift based working 40 hours usually over 5 x 8 hour shifts (or 4 x 10 hours shifts) from Monday-Sunday. All staff work some night shift and weekend shifts.
Examples of shifts are 7am to 3pm / 8am to 4pm / 10am to 6pm / 2pm to 10pm / 11pm to 7am.
