We are looking for candidates for the position of:
REGIONAL SALES MANAGER
Working with the Head of Sales you will be responsible for generating new sales of publishing services to societies (including learned societies, universities, research institutes, academies of science, and conference organizers).
Key Responsibilities:
• Presentation and sale of publishing services to societies, universities, and publishers
• Organization of promotional events and meetings with potential customers
• Management of customer relationships in order to generate new business opportunities
• Building and updating databases of potential customers
• Sales and business reporting to supervisor
Skills & Experience:
• Master’s Degree (Preferred)
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in B2B sales (experience in the publishing industry would be an extra asset)
• A motivated, self-starter, results-oriented personality
• Strong interpersonal skills for successful interaction with customers
• Native or nearly native Spanish
• Fluent English and French language would be an extra asset
• Ability and desire to travel (30% of working time) and to work from a home office
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Driving licence
