Mariano Rajoy says he wants to put in place a system for admin which the general public have to go through involving town halls and other government offices which is 'simple, modern and dynamic'.
His planned Public Administrations Reform will involve setting up an advisory council comprising public sector workers, businesspeople in the private sector, consumer representatives and individuals from the academic world.
The whole process could eventually mean the end of long delays, constant queuing to attend offices in person, masses of photocopying and expense for transactions which can be carried out simply on line and by consulting central records.
