30/01/2017
A FIRE in a Barcelona restaurant forced emergency services to evacuate the MAPFRE Tower, one of the city's largest skyscrapers and home to the head office of the insurance company of the same name.
The blaze started at around 09.30 this morning (Monday) in the kitchen of a brewery on the C/ Marina, in the Port Olímpic district.
Hundreds of office workers had to file out of the harbourside tower, and are believed to still be outside waiting until it is safe to return.
