Brits report 'vomit on seat' on Ryanair Alicante flight
05/10/2018
A BRITISH couple on a Ryanair flight from Alicante to claimed their seat was 'covered in dried vomit' and that the cabin crew 'refused to clean it'.
“It was quite obvious that someone had been sick,” said one of the pair.
“We asked the cabin crew to clean it, but they said if they did that, it would delay take-off.
“Their attitude was not a happy one, and it seemed they thought we should sit on it.”
The couple claimed the cabin crew blocked the aisle and asked them to move out of the way when they refused to sit on the vomit-stained seat.
“There was a row of empty seats at the emergency exit, but they didn't offer them to us,” say the Brits.
A Ryanair representative assures that all aircraft are 'cleaned thoroughly' by professionals at the end of every day, and that the flight attendants clean the cabin and toilets at the end of every flight.
The company insists that the customers in question were 'transferred to other seats' and that the 'area in question' was cleaned up.
