La Siesta Restaurant, Jávea
30/07/2004
Nothing could be more relaxing than a delicious home-cooked Mediterranean meal eaten on a sophisticated terrace overlooking the beach, with relaxing music to soothe your mood.
It may seem a dream, yet at La Siesta Restaurant in Jávea, it’s a reality. For more than 15 years the restaurant has provided an unbeatable service in leisure and catering, and the restaurant prides itself on offering quality food at affordable prices, friendly service, and stunning surroundings.
The food is healthy and home-cooked, and the service is faultless.
The restaurant and bar is located directly on Jávea beach, and combines all the ingredients to make for a perfect day or evening at the seaside. The terrace is large and attracts a mixture of families, couples, or business groups. As well as providing a top-quality restaurant, bar, pool table and sun lounge area, it also has a bodega and delicatessen.
Healthy and delicious
The restaurant offers an extensive daytime and evening menu at incredibly reasonable prices. You can choose from any one of their salads as a starter, or maybe you would prefer to savour juicy melon and ham.
Melt-in-the-mouth Mozzarella in breadcrumbs or beef carpaccio is also delicious.
For the main course, you could treat yourself to one of their pasta or noodle dishes, or opt instead for grilled fish or meat that you can watch cooking on the restaurant’s open terrace grill. For dessert, why not indulge in velvety tiramisú or smooth Crema Catalana.
The restaurant also offers sandwiches, a children’s menu and an English and continental breakfast menu.
Cocktails at Happy Hour
Every evening between 6pm and 9pm is ‘Happy Hour’, where you can buy a cocktail, a bargain at 5 euros, as you are also invited to help yourself to the extensive buffet that is on offer.
Bodega and delicatessen
A bodega complete with delicatessen is also attached to the restaurant that offers customers a great variety of Spanish and foreign wines, cava, spirits and an extensive range of take-away home-cooked food, the perfect compliment to a good wine.
Extra activities
Furthermore, La Siesta offers an exciting summer programme offering the public to enjoy top Djs, dance lessons including salsa and oriental dance, and even massage.
