Valencia 'Fallas' week metro strike cancelled
17/03/2017
VALENCIA'S metro strike during Fallas week has been called off, much to the relief of residents in the city and wider region and tourists travelling to eastern Spain for the world-famous March festival.
Some tram drivers are still planning to strike, but 85% of services will be running and 100% of the underground metropolitan line will continue as usual.
This said, passengers are advised to keep an eye out at stations for possible announcements and follow rail staff's instructions at all time in case of possible changes, and because of the sheer volume of metro travellers between now and the early hours of Monday, March 20.
