Björk, Nick Cave and the Arctic Monkeys on Primavera Sound programme

AN ECLECTIC array of international artists from the past and present have been confirmed for Barcelona's massive Primavera Sound Festival this coming spring.
The city's Fòrum Park will play host from May 30 to June 3 to one of Spain's best-loved and globally-renowed week-long pop and rock parties, which is right up there with Benicàssim International Festival, SanSan Festival (Benicàssim), and Arenal Sound (Burriana), all in the province of Castellón on the east coast.
Icelandic indie-pop legend Björk, together with Nick Cave and the Arctic Monkeys head up the agenda, confirm organisers.
Controversial French national rock hero Serge Gainsbourg will not be there, but the late icon's widow and Eurovision partner Jane Birkin, and their daughter Charlotte Gainsbourg, will indeed hit the stage.
Belle & Sebastian and The National are also confirmed.

Tickets are available from Primavera.es, Ticketmaster and Redtkt and cost €215 for a full five-day pass or €400 for a five-day VIP pass including backstage entries, and can be paid for in instalments - €65 upon initial booking and €60 on the fourth day of the next two months.
No name changes or refunds can be requested except in special cases, described in the terms and conditions.
