Local area
Los Gallardos is a small village located in the valley just below Bédar. The narrow streets surround the beautiful village square where locals gather for the festivities of which Los Gallardos is known for hosting some of the best in the area. Every Thursday there is a street market selling a variety of products, including fresh local produce. There is a variety of shops within the village to serve the community and an excellent variety of bars and restaurants for all tastes. Here you will also find a church, a school, and a medical center, making it an excellent location for all age groups.

A short drive away are 5 quality golf courses and many interesting hiking routes in the area. The village is a short drive from Mini Hollywood in Tabernas, where you can enjoy the history of many of the Spaghetti Westerns filmed in the area along with many other notable attractions. Very close by are the Sorbas caves, where various walks can be taken with different degrees of difficulty. Worth a tour!

Located less than an hour's drive from Almería International Airport and 2 to 2.5 hours' drive from the airports of Murcia and Alicante. Los Gallardos has excellent motorway access and in the coming years will have the service of the high-speed AVE train from Madrid which will stop in the nearby town of Vera. The nearest beaches of Mojácar and Garrucha are approximately 14 km away.
