Spectacular rustic 19th-century house in Carballeda de Avia, located in the wine-growing region of O Ribeiro, with an artisan winery and fertile vineyards of the D.O. Ribeiro.

The house preserves original elements of the era such as the gallery, wooden work and polychrome, or the guard post or watchtower (see photos) that gives access through a large wrought-iron gate to the tower where feudal lords were protected (currently it has 2 comfortable rooms).

Bodega features:
The 19th-century winery is one of the few existing in the entire national territory whose characteristics allow total artisanal production without any additives, thanks to the perfect combination of the surroundings, the wall that protects the vineyard from frost, the soil with its nutrients, and the microclimate of the area, which allow obtaining an extraordinary vineyard, awarded twice for its high quality by the Ribeiro Wine Association and the National Wine Association.
The interior combination is perfect to achieve excellence of the aforementioned vine; the earth and soil walls together with the wooden ceiling achieve an optimal and constant temperature and humidity throughout the year, allowing the wine to be preserved for more than 10 years.
It has four original ceramic deposits of the house, which are optimal for the natural fermentation process. The winery also has four original wooden vats from the Carballo house, likewise in optimal condition. Both the deposits and the vats are among the few that can still be viewed in their original state across the national territory. In addition, the winery is completed with a mid-18th-century press.

Spectacular routes designed within the Carballeda de Avia Natural Paths project, such as the Route of the Mills, Route of the Horses and Route of the Bolos, as well as the routes of the Romanesque churches to Leiro.
Within a radius of one to ten kilometers we find various enclaves, such as the urban center of Carballeda de Avia with all services, the Prexigueiro Pools, thermal and wine routes of Ribeiro, the summer thermal waters spa, Arnoía Spa, the mooring of the Castrelo de Miño Nautical Club and O Carballino, with numerous hiking routes, mills and waterfalls, as well as its famous cuisine: octopus.
Ourense is twenty-five minutes away.

Access:
Rías Baixas Highway A-52, connects Galicia with Castile and León, linking the provinces of Pontevedra, Ourense and Zamora with the A-6 highway, starting in Madrid.
Diversions on the provincial road OU-504 (Ribadavia-O Carballiño), either in Leiro or Beade, (OU-212) towards the Avión municipality. Through the municipality of Carballeda de Avia, via the OU-306 that connects with the OU-504 in San Cristovo (Ribadavia).
There is the possibility of purchasing rustic cultivation plots belonging to the house.
