A remate assignment is nothing more than a property that has not been sold at a judicial auction and that is now being marketed before being registered in the name of the auctioneer. The property transfers free of mortgage charges.
All costs of the public sale and those arising from the cancellation of charges, and the debts that, if applicable, encumber the property, such as, and not exhaustively, community fees and property tax (IBI), will be borne by the successful bidder. The law requires the successful bidder to bring up to date the community and IBI for the last 4 years in case there is debt.
