Around the area there are well-known spa resorts, a Michelin restaurant and several golf courses, such as the Melia Villaitana Golf Club. One of Spain’s most famous vineyards, Enrique Mendoza, is located outside of Benidorm, about 10 minutes away, and offers wine tasting throughout the year. There is also a theme park, Terra Mitica, and a water park, Aqualandia, nearby, which attracts a large amount of tourism and visitors each year. Events in Benidorm include, for example, the annual Low Festival and the popular cabaret shows with dinner at Benidorm Palace.
