Cala Figuera is located about 60 kilometres from the Mallorcan capital Palma de Mallorca and is probably one of the most beautiful fishing villages on the island. The idyllic place was very little influenced by the tourist boom in the 1980s and has thus retained its original charm. The bay with its turquoise waters runs deep inland in a y-shape. The restaurants in the harbour serve freshly caught fish and seafood. The owners of the restaurants buy the goods directly from the fishermen. When they are not at sea, they sit together in small groups in the harbour or mend their nets. Several hiking routes, partly directly along the sea, invite to extensive excursions. The popular village of Santanyí is only about 4 kilometres away. The beautiful beaches like Cala Santanyí, Cala Llombards or Cala Mondragó, with their turquoise water, ideal for families with small children, are only four kilometres away.
