The village is known for its “route of the flowering almond trees”, where nature lovers and hikers can enjoy a beautiful landscape with almond trees, mostly in January and February. The village has several small shops, cafés and bars. There is also a church called Iglesia Nuestra Señora de Candelaria. From the church square you have a good view of La Gomera and a small part of La Palma. You are on the TF-1 in a few minutes. From there it is about 15 minutes to Costa Adeje, Los Gigantes or Puerto Santiago.
