This architectural jewel was built in 1725, when Mr. Guillermo Van den Heede, a merchant from the Netherlands who carried a letter of nobility, settled here.

"Year 1725 was passing when Guillermo Van den Heede, an important merchant from the Netherlands and bearer of a letter of nobility, arrived on the shores of Tenerife, founding a distinguished house on one of La Laguna’s most important royal calzadas, the former capital of Tenerife." Thus was born this unique property loaded with history, with more than 30 rooms, an approximate area of 1,500 square meters, and innumerable possibilities.

It is preserved in its original state with materials typical of the era. The dwelling is covered with Arabic tile. The construction method is Mudéjar (a blend of Hispano and Portuguese elements); it is a flat-façade architecture, characterized by long stretches of lime masonry and irregular openings. It features a central courtyard with tall columns, which can be accessed directly from the main entrance door/porch and other ground-floor dependencies. Its beautiful and spacious central courtyard garden provides light and a wonderful landscape that stimulates all our senses and transports us to other times. Its galleries, dependencies, and different floors revolve around it. It has a large rear patio that in its time was used as an orchard, courtyard, stables, and garage.

This architectural jewel is distributed as follows:
