Charming townhouse situated in a quiet street in the historic village of Torrox, only a few minutes' walk from the central plaza and any of the other enchanting areas that you care to visit in Torrox.

The property combines the authentic feeling and ambience of a whitewashed Andalucían village with the convenience of being only 5 minutes' drive (or 45 minutes' walk) from the sea.

It has spectacular unrestricted mountain views with a small sea view and makes an ideal getaway, being only 45 minutes from Malaga airport.

Accommodation

Ground floor: Living room with wood-burning fire, double bedroom, and a complete family bathroom. From here, a marble staircase leads to the first floor.

First floor: Kitchen with granite worktops, IKEA integrated cooker, fridge and freezer. Two bedrooms off the kitchen; one is the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom facilities. Marble stairs access the large sun terrace.

Sun terrace: Extremely spacious with BBQ and unrestricted mountain views, granite worktop with sink, fridge and washing machine. Large eight-seater glass-topped table, chairs and sun loungers.

Torrox, a typical, vibrant Andalucían hillside village with pretty winding streets.

Five minutes' walk from the house is the town square, with restaurants and tapas bars where there are festivals every few weeks. Parking is close by with easy, level access to the house.

Torrox council claims that Torrox has the best climate in Europe, probably due to the microclimate created by the range of mountains just to the north.

Swimming: There is an indoor municipal pool open all year within 5 minutes' walk.

Torrox Costa, 5 minutes away: Charming Costa del Sol seafront with lots of restaurants along the promenade, with unrestricted views of the beach which stretches for a couple of miles. All major supermarkets, including Aldi and Lidl.

Nerja, 10 minutes away: Attractive, bustling town with local shops, restaurants, beaches and the magnificent caves.

Skiing: 90 minutes to Sierra Nevada ski resort, the highest mountains in mainland Spain.

Hillwalking: The mountains behind Torrox, which you can see in the photographs, are part of the mountain range enclosed within the National Park of the Sierras de Tejeda, Almijara y Alhama. They contain some spectacular walking trails. Lucero, the conical mountain to the right, is 5,820 feet (1,414 higher than Ben Nevis), and La Maroma, out of sight to the left, is 6,778 feet. On a clear day, you can see the mountains of Morocco, 100 km across the Mediterranean.

Caminito del Rey: Spectacular suspended cliff walkway, 90 minutes away.

Granada, Córdoba and Seville can all be visited easily on a day trip.
