Description
We are looking for a hands-on Aparthotel & Property Operations Manager to oversee our hospitality and property operations in the Marbella / Estepona area.
The main focus is our aparthotel: ensuring smooth daily operations, improving occupancy and maintaining a high-quality guest experience. The role also includes light coordination of a small portfolio of long-term rental apartments and commercial properties.
This is a practical, on-site management role for a proactive and reliable professional who enjoys working closely with guests, the local team, vendors and owners, while keeping operations structured and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
- Aparthotel Operations: Oversee daily operations, guest communication, check-ins/check-outs and issue resolution.
- Occupancy Growth: Optimize Booking.com, Airbnb, availability and direct/local booking opportunities.
- Cloudbeds Management: Keep reservations, payments, guest details and availability accurate and up to date.
- Team Coordination: Coordinate Front Desk, Housekeeping and maintenance support to ensure smooth daily operations.
- SOP Compliance: Implement and monitor SOPs, service standards and checklists provided by head office.
- Property Coordination: Support light operational coordination of long-term rental apartments and commercial properties.
- Maintenance, Quality & Cost Control: Follow up on repairs, monitor related costs, compare vendor options and look for cost-effective solutions, while ensuring all properties remain clean, ready and well maintained within agreed budget guidelines.
- Local Partners & Vendors: Maintain relationships with agencies, service providers and maintenance partners.
- Head office Reporting: Provide clear updates on occupancy, guest feedback, maintenance and improvement opportunities.
Requirements
- Fluent Spanish and English, preferable with international experience
- 5+ years of experience in hotel, aparthotel, serviced apartment or short-term rental operations is preferred; minimum 3+ years of relevant experience required.
- Experience with Booking.com and/or Airbnb.
- Hands-on, reliable and able to manage daily operations independently, making practical decisions within agreed responsibilities.
- Strong guest service, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate a small local team, vendors and maintenance providers.
- Cloudbeds, pricing/revenue experience and local Costa del Sol network will be considered an advantage.
- Willing to be reachable for urgent operational matters when required.
