The young woman who was found dead at Cubillas reservoir near Granada has been identified by her parents as 27 year old Beatriz CR, who went missing when she went out for a jog on Wednesday night along the calle Joaquina Eguaras.
It seems that she phoned her boyfriend when she spotted two suspicious looking individuals. The last words she heard were "turn off the mobile, and stay calm."
The victim, who lived in Granada's Cerillo de Maracena district, was found by a security guard (photo) at 9.45am yesterday morning.
Her car was found parked near the La Madraza secondary school, near Almunia park.
An investigation is underway, but no arrests have yet been made.
