A SPANISH league football team is encouraging its fans to become sperm donors so that they can breed more season-ticket holders.
Getafe FC, in the Comunidad de Madrid, is in La Liga but is struggling to compete against the likes of Real and Atlético and Barça's season-ticket holder numbers of between 40,000 and 90,000.
In fact, Getafe has a mere 9,000, and wants to attract more.
To do so, it has launched a video in which a Getafe fan standing in an empty stadium says, “the problem is that there aren't enough of us.”
He is then seen walking into a clinic, decorated wall-to-wall with Getafe memorabilia, carrying a plastic container.
The women are given something to drink which makes them sex-mad, fuelled by the video given to the donor and fan titled Getafe's hot zombies.
The film concludes with a woman holding a baby, representing the next generation of Getafe fans, followed by a show of a sperm entering an egg and the words, 'the more the better'.
Producer Ángel Torres says: “If the campaign works, we'll need to build a bigger stadium.”
