A 35-YEAR-OLD woman who went missing from her home in Ibiza in early November has been found dead on the beach in Cullera, about an hour south of Valencia and across the water from the nearest Balearic island to the mainland.
Police say the DNA taken from the body matches that of the Brazilian lady who vanished two months ago and which was held on their missing persons file.
They are searching for her partner, a 36-year-old man who also lives in the Balearics and whose family reported his and the woman's disappearance.
This man's car was found completely wrecked in Santa Eulària, Ibiza, around the middle of December.
Investigators believe the woman may have been swept away by the tides during the recent storms and been found on the other side of the sea.
