Tickets are due to go on sale this coming Tuesday (February 7) for the hugely-popular electro-pop artist's show on August 12, in which he will perform tracks from his forthcoming album.
Guetta performed in Benidorm last summer, and is keen to repeat the experience in the bustling Costa Blanca resort town which he says he enjoyed immensely.
“We were also eager to have him back at the festival, so when that happens on both sides, you can't say no,” says Javier Ferrándiz, promoter of Benidorm Sound.
The DJ attracted over 16,000 fans to his gig last year at the Guillermo Amor stadium as part of the Benidorm Sound festival, and Ferrándiz – and Benidorm's mayor Toni Pérez – are both confident that the turnout will be at least as great this coming August.
