Underground rail traffic will be disrupted from 07.00 to 09.00, from 16.00 to 18.00 and from 20.30 to 22.30 every Monday.
Not all staff voted in favour of the strike, so some minimal services are expected to be carried out.
Workers will take two-hour shifts to strike in rotating order – as strike days are unpaid, this means a maximum of eight hours accumulated per staff member per month, or a loss of one day's pay.
These 'rotating' strikes have become more common, so as to keep up the pressure for longer without employees losing most of their wages.
The transport company, TMB, says the labour action is 'uncalled-for' and claims it has been negotiating working conditions with staff unions in twice-weekly meetings since January 11.
