A RYANAIR flight had to make an emergency landing in Málaga due to a passenger's 'unacceptable and intolerable behaviour' on board, according to sources from the airline.
The flight was covering the early-morning route today (Thursday) from the Canarian island of Fuerteventura to the Italian city of Pisa, and had to touch down in the Costa del Sol capital, where the offending traveller was arrested.
Ryanair has not provided further details of the passenger's behaviour, but it is believed to have been threatening and aggressive, possibly violent, given the message the company issued following the incident.
“We are not going to tolerate inappropriate behaviour at any time; the safety and comfort of our customers, crew and the aircraft is our number one priority,” said an official communication from the carrier.
