BARÇA midfielder Gerard Piqué has escaped unscathed from a spectacular crash in the Qatar desert during a buggy trip, and has posted the evidence on Instagram (shown left).
Piqué, 30, who lives with Colombian pop-rocker Shakira, 40 and their two little boys, is on a trip to the Qatari capital of Doha with his team-mates Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba.
A desert buggy ride was one of the many activities they had planned as part of their promotional tour.
Despite the dramatic footage, showing Piqué's buggy on its side in the sand, he and his tour guide walked away from the crash with barely a scratch.
